Bengaluru, February 12: India pacer Avesh Khan was acquired by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 10 crore on day one of the Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction on Saturday. Avesh, who had a base price of Rs 20 lakh, was ultimately sold at Rs 10 crore to Lucknow, making him the most expensive uncapped player in the history of the grand tournament. Meanwhile, India pacer Basil Thampi was sold to Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakh and Kartik Tyagi was acquired by SunRisers Hyderabad for Rs 4 crore. India wicketkeeper KS Bharat went to Delhi Capitals at Rs 2 crore and Anuj Rawat was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 3.4 crore. Avesh Khan is most expensive uncapped player Punjab Kings spent Rs 60 lakh for Prabhsimran Singh. Sheldon Jackson, on the other hand, was sold to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for Rs 60 lakh. Earlier, Punjab Kings had purchased India all-rounder Shahrukh Khan for Rs 9 crore in the ongoing IPL mega auction. KKR has signed pacer Shivam Mavi for Rs 7.25 crore. Pacer Deepak Chahar was acquired by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Rs 14 crore. T Natarajan was purchased by SunRisers Hyderabad for Rs 4 crore, while Umesh Yadav went unsold. The Delhi Capitals spent Rs 10.75 crore for Shardul Thakur.
