Kangana Ranaut, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub set for 'Tanu Weds Manu 3'?
Mumbai, March 9: Makers of 'Tanu Weds Manu' are planning to make a third part of the franchise soon. Helmed by Aanand L Rai, the movie has been considered the most popular and loved franchise we have in Bollywood. It was the highest-grossing female-centric film of all time in Bollywood.
According to a report in a news portal, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who played the role of Advocate Arun aka Chintu Kumar Singh in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, said in an interview recently that writer Himanshu Sharma has reportedly wanted to base the next sequel of the film around Kangana and his (Mohammed Zeeshan) characters. Zeeshan also added that this idea has been floating for quite long time however nothing concrete has emerged from it.
Kangana had also won a National award for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ in the Best Actress category in the year 2016.

Meanwhile, Kangana will be seen in ‘Dhaakad’ where she will be essaying the role of Agent Agni. The movie also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in lead roles. Apart from this, she also has ‘Tejas’ and ‘Sita: The Incarnation’in her list.

Notably, Zeeshan Ayyub was earlier seen in the Amazon Prime web series 'Tandav' which got stuck into controversy. Zeeshan was playing the role of Shiv Shekhar, one of the main characters in 'Tandav'.
He, in an interview, shared an update about season 2 and said “I would be very happy to be back in Tandav with the rest of the cast. But, to be honest, I haven’t heard anything about it yet, as far as I know, there hasn’t been any discussion. Only the makers will be the right people to answer this, you have to ask them. Hopefully, Tandav Season 2 will happen soon," he said.
