Kings XI Punjab renamed as Punjab Kings ahead of IPL 2021
IPL 2021: Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday renamed its new brand identity. Now, it's Punjab Kings. The logo has also changed which communicates the spirit of Punjab.
Speaking on the new brand identity Punjab, Satish Menon, CEO, said that "Punjab Kings was a more evolved brand name and it was not about changing brand ethos but celebrating our one-ness as we stand in unit like a family."

Even as he said that the new brand name enhances the connection that the team has built over the years. From Kings XI Punjab to Punjab Kings, spirit of the team is looks more vigor and vibrancy.

Meanwhile, the owner Preity Zinta said: "This new year I had hinted that 2021 was going to be the year of new beginnings. So here is our new name and logo as promised. Now Sadda Punjab will be Punjab Kings. I’m super thrilled and excited to share our new vibe with our friends, fans and well wishers."
