Kisan Mahapanchayat will take place across the country: Rakesh Tikait in Sonipat
Thousands of farmers have been protesting against the farm laws near Delhi borders while the phase of 'kisan mahapanchayat' in Haryana is underway. Likewise, farmers organised Kisan Mahapanchayat in Sonipat where farmer leader Rakesh Tikait was also present.
Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait, during Kisan Mahapanchayat, said that the attitude of the government was very bad, which was against the farmer.

"We are now talking about repeal of farm laws," he said during Kisan Mahapanchayat in Sonipat.

The farmer leader said that the government should talk to farmers and that all farmers should maintain solidarity. Rakesh Tikait said that the agitation will continue on the border of Delhi and a farmer will work in the field as well. "We will go all over the country and there will be tractor rallies, he said.
Farmers have been protesting against contentious farm laws 2020 i.e. Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
