Lakhimpur Kheri violence: Mia Khalifa comes out in support of farmers

Lakhimpur Kheri violence: Former adult star Mia Khalifa has once again expressed solidarity with the farmers over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident in which four farmers died after being hit by a vehicle allegedly being driven by Union Minister Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra.

Mia Khalifa shared two pictures on her Instagram stories. One of the pictures shows a farmer is seen lying dead on road. The other picture reads the names of four farmers who died in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident.

The four farmers who died during the Lakhimpur Kheri incident have been identified as Gurwinder Singh (19), Lovepreet Singh (20) Daljeet Singh (35), and Nachatar Singh (60).

Meanwhile, a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking direction to the Ministry of Home Affairs and police to register FIR and "punish the ministers" involved in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident during farmers' protest in Uttar Pradesh on October 3.

The plea has been filed by two lawyers who also seek setting up of high-level judicial inquiry under the supervision of the Supreme Court involving CBI in stipulated time.

Earlier, Mia Khalifa had expressed solidarity with the farmers and had stated “I stand with farmers.”
