Ludhiana ACP tests positive for coronavirus

A 52-year-old Gazetted Officer of Punjab Police, posted in Ludhiana, has tested positive for coronavirus on Monday. According to the information, he had been unwell for the past week and has been put on a ventilator. Meanwhile, his health condition is said to be critical. He has been admitted to the Apolo Hospital in Ludhiana.

12 contacts of coronavirus patient tested negative in Muktsar

An 18-year-old-boy, who attended the Tablighi Jamaat congregation, tested positive for coronavirus in Muktsar district on April 8. The health department officials managed to trace 25 of his contacts, including one in Haryana. Twelve of them have tested negative while the reports of 12 others are awaited. The samples of the remaining people were taken on Sunday and they have been shifted to the isolation ward of a coronavirus hospital.
