BSF soldier takes his own life in Jammu and Kashmir following wife's tragic suicide
Srinagar, October 19: In a heartbreaking turn of events, a Border Security Force (BSF) trooper took his own life in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, upon learning of his wife's suicide in their home in Rajasthan.
Head Constable Rajendra Yadav, who was stationed in Kupwara, received the devastating news that his wife, Anshu Yadav, had tragically taken her own life by hanging herself in their residence in Dheerpur village, Rajasthan. In response to this heart-wrenching news, the BSF trooper used his service revolver to end his own life.
According to officials, the couple had engaged in a heated argument over the phone just before Anshu took the drastic step. They had been married for a mere eight months.
Officials have shared that the BSF soldier's body will be transported to his home on Thursday, marking a profoundly distressing and tragic turn of events.
