Cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu leads to flash floods, high alert issued
PTC News Desk: A cloudburst was reported in the Saij valley of Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh leading to flash floods. A high alert has also been issued to in the surrounding areas due to heavy rains.
According to the local administration, Parvati river is also in spate. However no casualties or damage to properties have been reported so far but people have been advised to stay indoors.
The administration and disaster management teams are monitoring the situation on the spot. Local residents have been appealed not to go near the banks of rivers and streams and to remain vigilant due to the weather. The residents have also been advised to pay attention to the warnings of the department.
