Delhi: 27-year-old stabbed to death by unidentified individuals, probe on
Delhi: In a tragic and horrific incident, a 27-year-old man, identified as Thanda Paani and a resident of Delhi's Trilokpuri area allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified individuals on Wednesday.
The victim sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where he was succumbed due to injuries.
As per the statement by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) East Delhi, Apoorva Gupta, "We received information from Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital regarding a man brought in with multiple stab injuries. Doctors declared him brought dead."
"We are in the process of verifying the facts and gathering additional information. Additionally, two more individuals were admitted to the hospital in the afternoon with injuries and have since been referred to a higher center," added the DCP.
While it is speculated that the incidents may be connected, confirmation is pending. Thanda Paani was reportedly involved in approximately 20-21 criminal cases registered at the Mayur Vihar police station and was labeled as a 'bad character' by the Delhi Police, indicative of his criminal record.
A case under IPC Section 302 has been filed in connection with the incident, and an investigation is currently underway.
