Delhi shocker: Violence against daughter and women of the nation is increasing with the each passing day which has become the serious and deeply concerning issue especially in Delhi, NRC and Mumbai. 

An uptick in such cases is a serious issue for society and is also raising questions on the law-and-order situation in the nation.


In the recent horrific, shocking and unsettling incident, a 26-year-old woman's body was discovered stuffed inside a wardrobe in a residence in Dwarka, southwest Delhi.

The harrowing incident unfolded when woman's father named Mustakim approached the police on Wednesday after he was unable to contact his daughter Rukshar for several days. 

The police received call at 10:40 pm on Wednesday and a team from Dabri police station rushed to the woman's house in Dwarka's Rajapuri area.

“Upon entering the flat, the body of the woman was found in the almirah of a room. The crime scene was inspected by the crime team and FSL,” a senior police official was quoted. 

“Wounds were found on the body of the woman, and there were marks of strangulation on her neck. Objects in the house were scattered all around, indicating that Rukshar tried to resist. Her body was found in a 'sitting' position in a big almirah with sliding doors,” DCP (Dwarka) Ankit Singh revealed. 

The victim's father alleged that she was killed by her live-in partner
The woman had been residing with her live-in partner, Vipin Tailor, in a rented accommodation for approximately one and a half months before the horrific incident.

Father of the victim also revealed that she told him that her partner used to beat her up, and that she was afraid she could be murdered.

A murder case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been lodged against her missing live-in partner, Vipal Tailor, as per victim father's complaint.
