Haryana govt declares restricted holiday on November 25 to mark 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji

PTC News Desk: Haryana government has declared restricted holiday on November 25 to mark Shaheedi diwas of ninth guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. 


A grand state-level event will be organised in Kurukshetra to mark the historic occasion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance. 

Lakhs of devotees and Sikh congregations from across Haryana and neighbouring states are expected to participate in the event, said Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner Vishram Meena.

Extensive arrangements pertaining to security, traffic movement, parking and crowd management will be put in place.
