The Governor has been invited to witness the departure of the first group of pilgrims led by the Panj Pyaras from Rishikesh on May 22, marking the auspicious commencement of the Hemkunt Sahib Yatra 2024.

During their discussion, Narinderjit Singh Bindra apprised the Governor of the ongoing preparations for the yatra and the progress of construction work on the travel routes. Emphasising the importance of ensuring a smooth and secure journey for pilgrims, the Governor urged for comprehensive facilities along the travel routes.
