IAF training aircraft crashes near Chennai; pilot ejects safely
PTC Web Desk: An Indian Air Force (IAF) trainer aircraft crashed on Thursday near Tambaram in Chennai’s Chengalpattu district. The aircraft, identified as a ‘Pilatus PC-7’, was on a routine training sortie when it went down.
According to initial information, the pilot managed to eject in time and landed safely, escaping without major injuries. The IAF has not yet released further details regarding the cause of the crash, and an investigation is expected to be initiated.
