PTC News Desk: Indian and Chinese forces have "almost completed" their disengagement in eastern Ladakh's Depsang and Demchok areas, army sources said on Tuesday. According to sources, both sides are currently cross-verifying the departure of military troops and infrastructure from these regions.

The deadline for complete military disengagement was today, October 29.

The two countries last week agreed on a patrolling agreement, which will hopefully put an end to nearly four years of military and diplomatic tensions sparked by skirmishes and violent battles in the Pangong Lake and Galwan regions in May-June 2020, which resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers in the latter.
