Punjab ASI murder: Terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Hindustan (TTH) claims responsibility, warns of more attacks
PTC News Desk: Hours after the brutal killing of Punjab ASI Joga Singh, a purported poster attributed to terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Hindustan (TTH) claimed responsibility for the murder, issuing fresh threats against security personnel and government official.
The obscure outfit had also earlier claimed responsibility for the killing of two policemen in Gurdaspur earlier this year, triggering alarming concerns amongst security agencies.
However, PTC News does not independently verify the authenticity of the post.
The terror outfit allegedly stated that its “Al-Burak squad” had carried out the attack in which the police official was gunned down in the Majitha area. The statement also warned of more such attacks against police personnel, army personnel and intelligence officials in different regions.
The outfit also claimed that a video pertaining to the killing will also be released online.
