India's Tejas fighter jet crashes during display at Dubai air show, pilot dies
PTC News Desk: A Tejas fighter jet crashed on Friday during a demo at the Dubai Airshow, causing black smoke to rise and emergency alarms to sound at the venue.
The Indian Air Force has confirmed in a post on X that the pilot flying the jet died in the crash after sustaining fatal injuries. A court of inquiry is being constituted to ascertain the cause of the accident, the Indian Air Force added.
The Indian HAL Tejas, used by the Indian Air Force, crashed around 2:10 pm local time while performing a flying show at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai World Central.
