Massive fire breaks out in Kanpur, 40 shops gutted
Kanpur, April 10: Massive fire broke out in market in Kidwai Nagar area of Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur in which around 40 shops were gutted.
As per the sources the fire broke out in one of the shop and quickly spread to adjacent structures.

However, no causalities or injury to anyone has been reported.
Officials of Kanpur City Fire Department officials said that the exact cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
"Two fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the blaze," officials said, adding that the situation is under control.
"Of the 40 shops, four were destroyed completly in the fire," officials said.
"No loss of life was reported so far," they added.
