NEET aspirant dies by suicide in Rajasthan over exam stress, father says was expecting 650 marks
PTC News Desk: Another tragic case of death by suicide linked to NEET-UG 2026 exam cancellation has surfaced. A medical aspirant in Rajasthan died by suicide following cancellation of entrance exam due to paper leak. His father said that he performed quite well and was expecting 650 marks this year.
However distressed over the cancellation, he took the tragic step and ended his life.
The student, identified as Pradeep Mahich, a native of Jhunjhunu district, had been living in Sikar with his two sisters for the past three years while preparing for the medical entrance exam at a private coaching institute.
