PTC Web Desk: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested another suspect in connection with the November 10 car blast outside Delhi’s Red Fort. The accused, identified as Soyab, a resident of Dhauj in Faridabad, Haryana, is the seventh person taken into custody in the case. According to investigators, Soyab allegedly provided shelter to terrorist Umar Un Nabi shortly before the attack and also extended logistical support during the planning stages.

Umar was reportedly driving the explosive-laden vehicle that detonated near the historic monument, killing several people and leaving many others injured. The NIA has been actively following multiple leads linked to the suicide bombing and continues to carry out coordinated searches across various states to trace additional suspects.

Earlier, on November 20, the agency apprehended four prime accused connected to the blast: Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganai of Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir; Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather of Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir; Dr Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay of Shopian, Jammu & Kashmir. All four are believed to have played significant roles in orchestrating the attack that claimed multiple lives.

Before these arrests, the NIA had detained two more individuals: Amir Rashid Ali, the registered owner of the vehicle used in the bombing, and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, who allegedly provided technical support to the attacker. All the apprehended suspects remain in NIA custody.
