One of the terrorists behind Pahalgam attack, at large, is Pakistan's former Commando
PTC News Desk: In a significant development, Security agencies have identified one of the terrorists involved in the horrific Pahalgam attack which claimed lives of 26 innocent people.
The terrorists who is reportedly hiding in somewhere Jammu and Kashmir has been identified as Hashim Moosa is believed to have been dismissed from Pakistan’s elite Para Forces before joining the banned terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
According to the security forces, Hashim is believed to be hiding somewhere in the forests of south Kashmir and an all-out operation has been launched to track him down.
“Musa is a highly trained operative with expertise in unconventional warfare, hand-to-hand combat, navigation and survival tactics,” a senior security official said.
Security officials have also suspected that Moosa's dismissal may have been staged as part of a larger conspiracy to carried out by Pakistan’s Special Services Group (SSG) in order to strengthen the LeT’s operations in Kashmir. Moosa has also been linked to at least three terror attacks that took place in 2024.
