Parliament monsoon session to commence from July 21
PTC News Desk: The monsoon session of the Parliament will be held from July 21 to August 12, according to the recommendations sent by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs to the President.
According to the sources, the government has agreed to hold discussions on Operation Sindoor and Pahalgam attack in line with the rules and regulations of Parliament proceedings.
Besides, the government is also considering to move impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Varma following his indictment in unaccounted recovery of cash at his residence. The Parliamentary Affairs minister Kiren Rijiju has reportedly reached out to several leaders including those from the Congress, TMC, Samajwadi Party, and DMK in the case.
"This is not a political issue. This is a matter of corruption. This is an important issue. The government wants to take everyone along. This motion should come from all parties. Most political parties have said they will respond by tomorrow," the sources said.
