Independence Day: PM Modi announces AI training, free online coaching for competitive exams for youths
PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday announced free onine coaching for competitive exams and artificial intelligence training for youths during his Independence Day speech from Red Fort. He asserted that coaching classes are a burden on the poor and middle class and that young people need to stay closer to their families.
Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort, PM Modi said the increasing competition around competitive exams, parents were forced to spend heavily on coaching centres, burning a hole in their pockets.
“The competition surrounding coaching classes has become a huge burden for middle-class families,” Modi said.

He added that many parents now feel that if they do not send their children to coaching centres, they are “somehow falling behind” or do not belong to a respectable family.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the new initiative would allow young people to prepare for competitive exams while staying close to their families.
He said students should be able to receive the care and support of their families without putting extra financial pressure on them. To achieve this, the government has decided to provide free online coaching for various competitive examinations.
The government plans to use India’s existing digital public infrastructure and bring together experienced teachers and educators to build a nationwide online coaching network.
According to PM Modi, combining technology with the expertise of talented teachers will help provide free coaching opportunities to young people across the country.
