Punjab Agniveer martyred in J&K landmine blast
Punjab Agniveer martyred: In a horrific, dreadful and fatal incident, an Agniveer jawan martyred and two others injured on Thursday in a landmine explosion near the Line of Control.
The dreadful incident unfolded in Rajouri district's Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir at around 10:30 am over 200 metres away from the Forward Defence Line (FDL) in the area.
The deceased Agniveer has been identified as 23-year-old Ajay Singh from Ramgarh Sardaran village in Ludhiana district. Ajay Singh survived by his father Kala Singh and mother Laxmi.

Ajay Singh succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while two others have been injured.
According to official sources, the trio was conducting a patrol along the Line of Control when one of them inadvertently stepped on an old landmine, leading to a detonation.
