Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ashish Gulia expressed gratitude to IOCL for its continued support and highlighted the importance of the new facility. He informed that the MRI scanner has been installed at an approximate cost of ₹16 crore.

"When a leading organization like IOCL extends its support for the welfare of common people and needy cancer patients, it strengthens our resolve. It reassures us that we are not alone in the fight against cancer. Such contributions help us deliver services without any delay and at subsidized rates," he said.

Dr. Ashish Gulia also acknowledged Indian Oil’s longstanding association with the institution, noting that the company has consistently supported multiple projects at the hospital.
