Omicron, its variants can still cause havoc, says PM Modi at Covid review meeting with CMs
New Delhi, April 27: Amid a spike in Covid-19 cases and to take stock of the current situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a virtual review meeting with Chief Ministers.
Addressing the Chief Ministers via virtual review meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the fight against Covid 19 had not ended yet. Omicron and its variants could still cause havoc as witnessed in the nations of Europe. He exhorted the Chief Ministers to promote Covid-appropriate behaviour in public places. At the meeting with CMs, the Prime Minister also appreciated the joint efforts of the Centre and states in improving health infrastructure.
