Petrol and diesel prices hiked again after a day's pause; Here are latest rates in top cities
While there was no change in fuel prices, the state-run oil marketing companies have hiked the price of petrol by 5 paise per litre to Rs 80.43 and that of diesel to Rs 80.53 (a hike of Re 0.13) in Delhi on Monday. The development comes a day after there was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the national capital. In the last 22 days, the prices of petrol have increased by Rs 9.17 per litre while that of diesel has increased by a higher margin of Rs 11.14 per litre. After the break of 82-day, the retailers have been adjusting the fuel rates in the line with costs from June 7. In Delhi, both the fuels are now above Rs 80. Diesel is at an all-time high level in the national capital.
