Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and workers led by Shwet Malik took to roads with broom sticks this morning in order to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
They cleaned the road outside Durgiana Temple, Amritsar to mark the day as 'Sewa Diwas' on PM Modi's birthday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 68 today! To celebrate his birthday, he will head to his constituency Varanasi for a two-day visit and is expected to spend the day with school children from various villages in the district.

During the first leg of the visit, PM Modi will meet children from a primary school in Naraur village After Naraur, he will head to Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) guest house to spend the rest of the day with children of his adopted villages- Jayapur, Nagepur and Kakrahia.
The prime minister will also attend a special screening of ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’- a movie inspired by his life along with the children. He is likely to lay  foundation of the ambitious Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Project on the occasion of his birthday. -PTC News
