AIADMK's Udayakumar takes a dig at CM Vijay: 'When will Trisha become Deputy CM?'
PTC Web Desk: AIADMK leader R B Udayakumar stirred political buzz on Tuesday after taking a sarcastic jab at Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, asking when actress Trisha, his frequent co-star, would be appointed Deputy Chief Minister.
The remark, made during a public statement that quickly went viral, targeted what Udayakumar described as a pattern of government appointments favouring people connected to Vijay's film career.

In the video circulating widely online, the former minister claimed that the TVK-led government has been handing out official positions to individuals who earlier worked with Vijay on his movies, including producers and technical crew members.
He listed several such appointments, alleging that people from Vijay's film circle had been placed in key government roles, including temple trustee, Tamil Nadu's special representative in New Delhi, personal secretary to the Chief Minister, head of the state film training institute and government advisors.
Building on this list, Udayakumar sarcastically asked when Trisha, who has starred alongside Vijay in multiple films, might be next in line, this time for the post of Deputy Chief Minister.
As of now, neither the Chief Minister's office nor any of the individuals named by Udayakumar have issued an official response to the remarks.
