'Chun Chun Ke Badla Lenge': Amit Shah vows revenge in first public remarks on Pahalgam terror attack
PTC Web Desk: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in his first public statement on the April 22 Pahalgam Terror Attack, issued a stern warning to terrorists. Speaking on Thursday, Shah asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India will respond to every act of terrorism with a fitting and precise counteraction.
Referring to the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, Shah declared, “If anyone thinks a cowardly attack is their victory, they must remember this is Narendra Modi’s India — and revenge will be taken, chun chun ke (one by one).”
Highlighting the global stance against terrorism, Shah emphasised that India's fight against terror has garnered widespread international support. “Not only 140 crore Indians but the entire world is standing with us,” he said, noting that various countries have joined hands with India in this critical battle.
On April 23, a day after the deadly terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Shah arrived in Srinagar, met with the grieving families, offered condolences, and laid wreaths on the victims' bodies. He vowed that the culprits behind this cowardly attack would face justice: “They will not be spared.”
Reiterating his firm stance, Shah added, “Until terrorism is fully eradicated, our fight will continue — and those responsible will be given appropriate punishment.”
