Amritpal Singh’s another video surfaces, says ‘I will soon come before Sangat’
Chandigarh, March 30: Another video of 'Waris Punjab De' chief Amritpal Singh surfaced on Thursday. The Khalistani sympathiser said that he will "soon come before Sangat."
It comes at a time when the Punjab Police have deployed a drone to trace him and turned Hoshiarpur's village into a fortress after certain inputs. Sources said an alert had also been sounded in the border areas of Himachal Pradesh.
Earlier in the day, Amritpal Singh's audio clip went viral. A day before that, on Wednesday, Amritpal Singh appeared on video and thanked his supporters for protests against his arrest.
Meanwhile, after his video was released, people were speculating that the video might have been made under pressure and that he could be in custody. Amritpal looked fragile and weak and he was not looking into the camera.
Apparently, ending all speculations, another "audio" of the Waris Punjab De head was released on Thursday. In the audio, he denied that the video was got made under police custody. " I do not have habit of looking into the camera while making a video. My health is down. Please convey to Sikh Sangat that I am dong fine.... I have just called upon the Jathedar to call Sikh sangat. It is the time when quom should unite and give the proof of togetherness. I am neither afraid of the police nor arrest..."
