Chandigarh Press Club polls 2026: The Chandigarh Press Club elections for the 2026-27 term concluded smoothly Sunday evening, with Saurabh Duggal elected as president, securing 330 votes.
Umesh Sharma was elected senior vice president with the highest tally of 335 votes, while Aarti Agnihotri won the post of vice president-I (reserved for women) with 321 votes.

Ajay Jalandhari secured 319 votes to be elected vice president-II.
For key administrative roles, Rajesh Dhall was elected secretary general with 311 votes, and Prabhat Katiyar won the secretary post with 326 votes.
Pawan Tiwati (319 votes) and Brijender Gaur (314 votes) were elected joint secretaries, while Jagtar S Bhullar secured the treasurer’s position with 310 votes.
The results were officially declared by Returning Officer Vishal Gulati late in the evening, marking the successful completion of the electoral process.
