Dallewal's condition continues to worsen as fast unto death enters day 75; veins blocked, doctors unable to administer IV drip
PTC News Desk: Farmer leader Jagjit Sindh Dallewal's health continues to get worsen as his hunger strike enters day 75. Doctors have raised an alarming concern over his critical health condition. Reportedly most of his veins have blocked and doctors are unable to find his veins for administering intravenous drip.
According to the doctors who have been treating him at the Khanauri border have said that they have been facing difficulty in administrating intravenous drip to Dallewal since a few days now which hampers the medical aid being provided to Dallewal.
Reportedly, most of his veins in arms are blocked, hence doctors are attempting to facilitate drip through leg veins. Doctors have also expressed concern that administering intravenous drip with such complication can further cause addittional health complications.
A meeting of farmer organisations with Centre has been called on February 14. Representatives of both political and non-political organizations have been invited to the meeting which Dallewal was expected to attend it. However, in view of this critical health condition, his attendance remain a matter subject of question.
The farmers had started their agitation with13 demands including minimum support price for crops on February 13 last year.
