Ex-MLA Sheetal Angural's 16-year-old nephew stabbed to death in Jalandhar
PTC News Desk: BJP leader and former MLA Sheetal Angural’s 16-year-old nephew Vikas Angural was stabbed to death in Jalandhar on late Friday night.
The victim was attacked by three youths armed with a sharp-edged weapon following an argument in Shivaji Nagar of the Basti Danishmandan area. He was immediately rushed the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Soon after, Angural reached the spot and accused the AAP government that his nephew was killed due to drug-related issue.
An FIR has been registered in the case and investigation is underway. Police officials are examining the CCTV footage to identify the accused. The main suspect, Kalu, however has been identified and he belongs to the same locality.
Meanwhile, BJP general secretary Ashok Sarin condemned the brutal murder and blamed the Punjab government for the incident. He alleged that the easy availability of narcotics in Jalandhar West had turned the area into a den of criminals.
