Good news for Punjabi NRIs in Canada: Neos Airlines' Amritsar-Toronto flight to start from April 6
Amritsar to Toronto in 21 hours: In good news to almost 1 million Punjabis who live in Canada, Neos Airlines is set to launch a flight that will only take 21 hours to complete the journey from Amritsar to Toronto.
The Amritsar-Toronto flight will be launched on April 6 and will benefit over 10 lakh Punjabis living abroad.
According to the information received, this flight will first make a stop at Milan airport and arrive at Toronto's Pearson Airport after a 4-hour layover.
This flight will take off from Amritsar at 3.15 am every Thursday. This distance will be covered in 21 hours and 15 minutes.
Previously, Punjabis had to take flights from Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. However, it used to take at least 25 hours. A ticket from Toronto to Amritsar currently costs 46,500 rupees. While the price of the Amritsar-Toronto flight is unknown.
