JGND PSOU, Young Progressive Sikh Forum sign MoU to support underprivileged students
PTC News Desk: Patiala's Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGND PSOU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Young Progressive Sikh Forum (YPSF).
Mr Ajitpal Singh Kohli, MLA; Prof. Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, JGND PSOU; Dr Prabhleen Singh, President, YPSF; Mr Harpreet Singh Sahni, Editor PTC; Dr Daman Sandhu, Punjabi University Patiala; Prof Manjit Singh, Registrar; and Prof Gurdip Singh Batra, Dean Academic Affairs were all present when the MoU was signed.

Speaking about the development, Prof Karamjeet Singh said, "YPSF and JGND PSOU will work together to support needy and financially underprivileged students. The University will give free education to students selected through the YPSF Scholarship Program. During the academic year, a maximum of 100 students can get a scholarship."
Eligibility: Students with annual family income not more than Rs.2,50,000; differently-abled learners; dependents of divorcee mothers; families affected by natural disasters and students who have lost earning members.

JGND PSOU provides skill enhancement courses at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Certificate levels.
