Police nab three gangsters after cross-firing; large amount of weapons recovered
Moga (Punjab), December 17: Moga Police apprehended three gangsters after a cross-fire and recovered a large amount of weapons from their possession. According to police, the arrested accused are members of Bambiha gang (headed by Lucky Patial).
The criminal investigation agency put up barricades, and gangsters arriving on motorcycles were told to stop, according to Harinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police in Moga district.
"When told to stop, the gangsters turned their bike around and tried to flee, but the cops went after them. They then abandoned their bike, went inside the farms, and opened fire on the police team," Singh stated.
He stated that the gangsters surrendered after an exchange of fire and that one of them was injured while attempting to flee, but not in the firing.
Reportedly, a huge quantity of arms and ammunition has been recovered from the arrested gangsters.
