Property registration in 48 hours in Punjab, sale deed registration revamp from today
PTC News Desk: The Punjab government is all set to enforce amendment in the way property sale is registered. Registration of sale deeds will now be processed within 48 hours of the submission of documents.
Under the banner of 'Easy Registration' the scheme will be launched in Mohali by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Monday.
The residents will also have the option of doorstep collection of document for submission. The payment for the registration of sale deed will be allowed through Sewa Sahayaks.
The scheme will allow the citizens to complete the process of submitting documents, making payments and receiving pre-approval for their sale deed while sitting at their homes though the portal “Anywhere Registration”.
The move aims at providing corruption and hassle free registration for citizens and they can decide to register the sale deeds at the office closest to their residence.
