Punjab youth shot dead in US by unidentified assailants, family seeks help to bring back mortal remains
PTC News Desk: A 21-year-old youth was shot dead by unidentified assailants while he was driving in California, US on March 15.
The deceased youth has been identified as Gurdas, resident of Fatehpur village in Punjab's Samana district. Gurdas' father, Davinder Singh, said he had moved to California in 2023 on a work permit after his Class XII exams. Davinder said he had borrowed Rs 50 lakh and sold his land to send Gurdas abroad.
The family has appealed to the authorities concerned to expedite the process of bringing the body back.
