Punjabi singer Harman Sidhu dies in tragic road accident near Mansa
PTC Web Desk: Punjabi singer Harman Sidhu died in a road accident late Friday evening. The incident took place around midnight when his vehicle collided with a truck while he was travelling from Mansa to his native village Khiala.
Police officials said Sidhu died on the spot due to the impact of the collision. The exact cause of the crash is yet to be confirmed. His body was shifted to the Mansa Civil Hospital for post-mortem, and his family was immediately informed.
The news has left the Punjabi music industry in deep shock. The regional entertainment world has recently witnessed multiple tragic losses, including artists Rajvir Jawanda and comedian-actor Jaswinder Bhalla.
Harman Sidhu rose to fame during the duet-song era, especially through his hit cassette track "Paper Te Pyaar," which earned him widespread recognition and made him a popular stage performer. His collaboration with singer Miss Pooja became one of the most memorable duos of that period, featuring in several music albums together.
According to family sources, Sidhu was preparing for a comeback with new music in line with current industry trends. Two of his songs were scheduled for release by late 2025, and both videos had already been completed. He had travelled to Mansa for music-related work before the accident occurred.
Sidhu had suffered personal loss just a year and a half ago after the passing of his father. He is survived by his wife, mother, and young daughter. As an only child, his sudden demise has left the family shattered.
