Punjab election result 2022 Highlights: Aam Aadmi Party is set to form the government in Punjab with a huge mandate. Both Congress' Navjot Singh Sidhu and SAD's Bikram Singh Majithia lost as AAP won from Amritsar East. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi lost from both Bhadaur and Chamkaur Sahib.

Amritsar East was one of the hot seats in Punjab, where SAD had fielded Bikram Singh Majithia against Congress' Navjot Singh Sidhu but AAP took the victory.
