If a 5-overs-a-side game is not possible owing to rain tonight, the match will go into the reserve day that is Monday

CSK star batter Ambati Rayudu has announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League.
The batter confirmed that the IPL 2023 final against Gujarat Titans will be his last match in the tournament.
Rayudu has been part of CSK since 2018. He has won three titles with the franchise.
He began his IPL career with Mumbai Indians in 2010.

Ahead of MS Dhoni's 250th IPL match, CSK took to Twitter to share pictures of their captain and paid tribute to him.

Rains are predicted to hinder the proceedings during the final.
Accuweather predicts that there is about an 80% chance of rain later in the day.
About 2 hours of rain could take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium on the occasion of the final.
