World Cup 2023: Spectator invades field during India-Australia final match, hugs Virat Kohli
PTC News Desk: A security breach took place during the India-Australia ICC Cricket World Cup final at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.
During the 14th over of India's innings, a Palestinian supporter invaded the field and hugged Virat Kohli, prompting security to quickly remove him.
In front of a raucous crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bowl first against India in the World Cup final on Sunday.
After playing ten games, the Indian team went undefeated, chasing totals in five and defending totals in five.
Australia, on the other hand, won eight consecutive games after losing two games in a row at the start of the tournament to reach the final.
India will be attempting to win their third World Cup, while Australia will be attempting to win their sixth.
