The magnum opus of director S.S. Rajamouli, 'RRR,' starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has smashed all box office records to become India's biggest film. Taran Adarsh, a well-known trade guru, tweeted on Saturday, "RRR smashes all records on Day 1. Overtakes 'Baahubali 2'. 'RRR' is now the number one opener of Indian cinema. 'RRR' has collected $3,198,766 from the preview collections on Thursday in the US and in Canada it made $270,361. The film has earned Rs 26.46 crore in North America, while in the UK, it made Rs 2.40 crore. The Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer film has managed to collect around Rs 223 Crore worldwide. In Tamil Nadu, the film earned over Rs 10 Crore. In Karnataka and Kerala, the action film grossed Rs 14.5 Crore and Rs 4 Crore respectively. The blockbuster film collected around Rs 25 Crore in North India, taking the total collection for India is Rs 156 crore.
