Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Congress' Sukhpal Singh Khaira will contest upcoming Punjab assembly elections from the Bholath constituency. He is a member of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and was the founder of the Punjab Ekta Party. Formerly, he was in Aam Aadmi Party and served as the Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly. He was a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Bholath in the 13th Assembly (2007-2012) and 15th Assembly (2017–present).
