Tara Air flight with 22 onboard goes missing over Nepal
Kathmandu, May 29: A Nepalese flight carrying 22 passengers, including four Indians, lost contact with ground support on Sunday morning, informed the airport authorities.
According to authorities, the Tara Air's 9 NAET twin-engine aircraft, flying from Pokhara to Jomsom in Nepal, lost contact at 9.55 am with ground support.
As per the local media reports, the missing aircraft had 22 passengers including the crew. The flight was hosting four Indian and three Japanese nationals and the remaining were Nepali citizens.

An air traffic controller at Jomsom Airport stated they have received an unconfirmed report about loud noise in Ghasa of Jomson, reported Kathmandu Post.
Meanwhile, a chopper was dispatched to the areas where the last contact was made, informed the Jomsom Airport's ATC and the search operation continues.
Tara Air spokesperson Sudarshan Bartaula has further confirmed that the flight has gone missing and a search operation has been initiated.
