As farmers continue to intensify their protest in India against farm laws 2020, the Delhi Traffic Police on Monday said that the border points in the national capital such as Ghazipur, Singhu, Auchandi and others have been closed for the traffic movement The farmers protest against the Centre’s farm laws 2020 has entered its 19th day. Meanwhile, the farmers have been holding a one-day hunger strike which will go on till 5 pm on Monday. Also, the farmers will perform sit-in protest outside BJP district offices across the country. As farmers continue protest in India against farm laws 2020, Delhi Traffic Police named border points closed for movement including Singhu. "People are advised to take an alternate route for coming to Delhi via Anand Vihar, DND, Chilla, Apsara and Bhopra borders," it added. It further said that "Singhu, Auchandi, Piau Maniyari, Sabholi and Mangesh borders are closed." As farmers continue protest in India against farm laws 2020, Delhi Traffic Police named border points closed for movement including Singhu. Earlier on Sunday, the farmers blocked the Jaipur-Delhi highway in Rewari while the Haryana Police placed barricades and had diverted the traffic coming from Delhi via Kasola Chowk. The police also restricted the entry of vehicles going towards Jaipur while the highway got partially opened post 2 pm. The farmers' have been protesting against the farm laws 2020 i.e. the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. -PTC News
