He underscored the significance of timely and efficient delivery of government programs, ensuring that citizens receive the intended benefits without unnecessary hassles.Earlier, PM Modi engaged with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra through video conferencing and flagged off the yatra in multiple states. The two-day visit to Varanasi involved launching 37 projects worth over ₹19,000 crore for the region's development. PM Modi participated in a roadshow, visited the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Exhibition, and interacted with the local community.The Prime Minister's itinerary also includes the inauguration of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2023 at Namo Ghat and the flagging off of a second Vande Bharat train between Varanasi and New Delhi. On the following day, he is scheduled to visit the Swaraveda Mahamandir, participate in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra program at Barki Gram Sabha, and inaugurate various projects in areas such as roads, bridges, health, education, police welfare, smart cities, urban development, railways, and airports.
