Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling: Revised schedule released, seat allotment results expected today

PTC News Desk: The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra has announced a revised schedule for the NEET UG Counselling 2024. The Round 1 seat allotment result for MBBS and BDS admissions is set to be released today, instead of the previously scheduled date of August 30. Students who participated in the counselling process can check their results on the official website: medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024 once the results are published.

How to Check the Maharashtra NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

  • Visit the Official Website: Go to medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024.

  • Navigate to the CAP Tab: On the homepage, click on the CAP tab and select the CAP 2024-2025 page.

  • Open the NEET UG 2024 Link: Find and open the NEET UG 2024 link.

  • Access the Round 1 Allotment Result: Click on the link for the Round 1 Allotment Result.

  • Enter Login Details: If prompted, enter your login credentials.

  • Submit and View Result: Submit your details to view the allotment result.

  • Download and Print: Download and print a copy of your result for future reference.

Students are required to report to their allotted colleges and submit the Status Retention Form along with all original documents and requisite fees (by demand draft or cheque) from September 1, 2024, to September 5, 2024, before 5:30 PM.


The official notification also mentions that the schedule for subsequent CAP rounds for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, and B(P&O) courses will be announced in due course.

The provisional merit list for Maharashtra NEET UG counselling was released on August 26, listing 55,781 candidates in the first round. The NEET UG 2024 exam saw 2,82,051 candidates from Maharashtra registering, with 2,75,442 appearing and 1,42,829 qualifying.
