It is important to remember that Amul hasn't raised the cost of fresh pouch milk in any significant markets since February 2023, according to a statement from GCMMF.It further stated that the increase in the total cost of operation and milk production is the reason for this price increase.According to GCMMF, Amul distributes around 80 paise of each rupee that customers pay for milk and milk products to milk producers. The price revision shall help in sustaining remunerative milk prices to our milk producers and to encourage them for higher milk production, it stated. Also Read: Clash erupts between terrorists and security forces in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir
