IPL match reel goes wrong: Woman loses RS 70,000 ring while filming viral trend
What began as a lighthearted attempt to shoot a fun reel at a crowded cricket stadium turned into a costly blunder, after a woman lost her Rs 70,000 ring while trying to recreate a viral trend. The incident occurred on April 11 during an Indian Premier League clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium.
The video, later shared on Instagram by Madhu Priya, captures the exact moment things went wrong.
In the clip, the woman is seen attempting a trending “ring toss” reel, where she pretends to throw her ring in the air while filming. However, the act quickly backfires as the ring slips from her hand and disappears into the crowd.
Her expression turns to shock as she realises what has happened. She is then seen searching frantically around her seat and nearby areas, hoping to recover the lost ring.
The caption of the video highlights the loss, stating that the ring, worth Rs 70,000, is still missing. The woman has also appealed to fellow spectators present at the stadium to help locate it, urging anyone who finds the ring to get in touch via direct message, with a promise to share ticket details for verification.
